Rudyard Kipling

Was born in 1987 in Bryansk, Russia.

 

In 2010, graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law in Moscow.

 

Studied Spanish and English in language-schools in Spain and Ireland.

 

For ten years lived in different countries and wrote articles in Russian and Spanish for Forbes, Conde Nast Traveller, Cosmopolitan, The-Village, Voyage, Gazeta.ru, GQ and other magazines.

 

In 2016, independently published the book "Aventurine", for which received 5 literary awards and a state medal.

 

On June 13, 2018, took place the premiere of the play "Sand in Bed" by director Razia Khasanova based on eight stories from the book "Aventurine".

 

In 2020, the novel "Fairy tales for the Anxious" was released.

 

In 2021, the novel "The Jungle Inside You" was published.

2016. Competition "Lady with a Dog" in name of Chekhov. Second Prize.

 

2017. Short story competition for the 125th anniversary of Paustovsky. Third Prize.

 

2018. Short story competition for the 200th anniversary of Turgenev. Second Prize.

 

2021 Prize-winner at the IX Open International Literary Competition in name of Korolenko.

 

By the decree of the Governor of the Oryol Region dated November 12, 2018 was awarded the commemorative medal "200th anniversary of I. S. Turgenev".
